TRAILER SAILER STOCK PLANS
TRAILER SAILER DESIGNS

These have always been popular craft to own. The economics of keeping the boat at home and the simple cruising or sailing opportunities they bring make trailer sailers good value for money.

Expect to spend over a year or more building the bigger designs. They are all fairly straight forward, it just takes a while to gradually work through the stages.

Based on the 4.26m motor launch, the1.54m beam Yellowtail has more volume aft. This strip plank or lapstrake hull is ideal for one or two people. 9.5mm WR Cedar and 300gsm fabric or 9.5mm ply planking is used, and a small petrol engine inboard or a transom mounted outboard can be fitted. The centreboard is galvanised steel encapsulated in a wood foil section.

Plans include lines, construction, arrangement, rig variations, a cuddy cabin option, and full size templates for the mould stations and stem profile, with marks for the lapstrake lineout.

Plans include lines, construction, arrangement, details, rig plan and spars, and full size templates for the mould stations and stem profile, with marks for the lapstrake lineout. Plans are only available from Woodcraft Boats P/L. PO Box 515 Leichhardt, NSW Australia 2040 mobile 0412 039 589

Plans include lines, construction, arrangement, detail drawings and a set of full size templates for the mould stations, bulkheads and stem profile.
